Gavin is 6 months old now. I’ve been fortunate enough to photograph him since he was a newborn. Having two kids, I know they change everyday, but when I only get to see kids like Gavin every couple of months I’m always surpised at the difference.

This was the other day. He just laid his head down and posed for me. He was really content the whole time, which made for great shots. Like I said, he’s my bud.

When dad joined us for the session it was play time. This is how I love to shoot families. I think it’s really important to show this interaction, not just for the family now, but for when the kids get older and they’re able to see, even if they don’t remember, how much their parents love them.

You know, sometimes I’ll flip on Sportscenter in the morning to catch scores.  Sometimes I might watch it twice because I’ll have missed some hilight I wanted to see.  But this morning, it was on ALL morning, and I loved every minute of it!  I loved being able to see the clip with the local radio sound and hear Bob Lamey say, “…the Colts are going to the Superbowl!”  I loved that he finally got to say those words.

It’s really great to see the whole team make it to the next level.  But especially Peyton, Marvin & Coach Dungy, for doing things the right way.  Particularly when we see so much selfishness  and rotten behavior in pro sports, it’s gratifying when hard work, dedication and integrity pay off.

Now let’s beat Chicago!

Thanks to everyone that came out to the Ritz Charles on Sunday for the Indianapolis Monthly bridal show. It was a great time and we had a terrific response from everyone that came by and spoke to us. I’ll be following up with all of you that asked about meetings over the next few days.

Things have been really busy, as the new web site launched on Tuesday - wahoo!! Yes, I wanted it to be ready to coincide with the show, but you know how that goes Since then I’ve been picking images for the galleries. I’m sure I’ll be making changes for the next few days too, so look again later on!
