There’s a lot to see and a lot to say about Cate & Ryan’s wedding. Even though they live in Chicago they were married here at SS. Peter & Paul Cathedral downtown. One of the benefits of attending the rehearsal and dinner is to get to know the family and friends of the couple. I have to say, these were some of the nicest and most gracious people to be around. The entire weekend was just a pleasure to take part in.
Casey Scott of Etcetera did a fab job with all the details, and made sure things rolled along all day. The reception was held in the Skyline Club atop the One America building downtown. Thanks to all who were involved and who made this a wonderful wedding.

After the rehearsal, everyone was whisked away by carriage to the Canterbury Hotel for dinner, dessert and….

…Cate’s Dad provided a little entertainment.

The next day, Ryan, his Dad and brother headed up to 4:59 a men’s barber lounge where they had their first straight razor shave.

The ladies, on the other hand, did the salon thing in Broad Ripple at Sign of the Tymes.

Helena shot with me and captured some fantastic shots with the ladies. Here’s one.

A family friend drove the couple around in a classic Mustang – it was awesome weather to ride along! Cate finally gets to check out Ryan’s shave – still smoooooth.

Cate’s explaining the significance of the hanky to Ryan – I love how they’re holding fingers!

The Skyline Club is an awesome venue that overlooks the city. Here are some details.

Once again the dances were emotional – Cate’s Dad and a family friend provided the music for Cate & Ryan’s first dance. Below is a great moment during Cate & Ryan’s dance. Later all Cate’s sisters came out to share Dad’s last Father-Daughter dance.
