Juliette & Frank – Wedding

I met Juliette at Natalie & Brad’s wedding when she was a bridesmaid. I was excited that she and Frank wanted to have me photograph theirs. They live in Connecticut so we talked on the phone and met whenever they were in town. Frank is a no nonsense kind of guy and his brother and groomsmen were a riot to be around.

The ceremony was at St. Michael’s, with the reception following at the Omni Severin downtown. Once again, Amanda Coffey and the Omni were amazing.

Thanks Juliette & Frank!

When I spoke with Juliette about the wedding, she originally planned for us to go somewhere around town and get some fun shots with the bridal party. But when the day arrived, she and Frank decided to instead visit some family that weren’t able to attend the ceremony. What a privilege for me to go along.

Juliette and Frank love New Orleans so they had a special mardi gras dance.

Remember Natalie and Brad my previous clients I mentioned above. This is them and they are so funny, because Brad is so quiet and reserved most of the time. But I think I have a shot like this of them at their wedding too!

Stephanie & Chris – The Wedding

During Stephanie & Chris’ engagement session there was a minor incident, but thankfully the wedding went off perfectly.  Not only were there no problems but it was one of the rockenest receptions ever.  Great people, great party.  The ceremony was at St. Mary’s in downtown Indy, and the reception at the Hilton on Market.

Thanks you two!

I just liked this shot from the rehearsal because Chris’ sister Liz wore the ruby slippers.

Here’s Stephanie at the famous Studio 2000 on the circle – the most photographed salon in Indy.

Jennifer – Senior

Jen is a straight A student that will be graduating from Westfield.

Jen’s father is of one of the nation’s most preeminent and sought after database administrators.

Which of the above statements is an extreme exaggeration? Well, it depends on who you ask, but Jen is the daughter of my friends Ken and Laura. I’ve known them quite a while. In fact, I used to buy 67 boxes of girl scout cookies every year from Jen when she was younger. Jennifer is the smart cookie now and I think she probably makes parents painfully aware of this on a daily basis – go Jen!

Elizabeth & Jason 08.18.07

Yes, I’m still way behind blogging weddings from last year. I’m still creating albums but other than that the blogging is the only thing I haven’t done. I know some of you have been waiting for me to get your wedding blogged, and I appreciate you waiting. I might start posting two at a time from now on!

Elizabeth and Jason both love to have fun. Jason’s never without a smile on his face. They had such a great outlook on the wedding day and knew that all that matters is they’re getting married. I’m sure it helped to have Pat & Katie Slama from KAS Events to help coordinate the whole event. As usual they did an outstanding job and I’d recommend them to anyone looking for a coordinator.

Special thanks to Zach Dobson for shooting with me.

The ladies started at the Canterbury Hotel.

Katie & John 08.11.07

We’re gonna go crazy big with this, the first, post on the new blog. It helps that Katie and John had so many amazing moments in their wedding. They’re really perfect for each other and they love each other so much. They’re both so warm and outgoing, you just feel better because you know them.

Their event was hosted by the wonderful Omni Severin in downtown Indianapolis. Carrie Sprague and the staff there did an outstanding job down to the last detail. It was the first of four events there for me last year, so you’ll see more in future posts.

Thanks for letting me get to know you both!

First, here are a few images from their engagement session.
