I’m so blessed to have clients that allow me the freedom to express my vision of their wedding day. Jacob & Corrie were no exception. Everything about their day was as close to perfect as I’ve seen; the weather, the details, the people. Once again they created the day they wanted, left plenty of time to enjoy themselves, and you could just tell they were ecstatic sharing it with everyone. The ceremony was at Meridian Street United Methodist church, with the reception at Allison Mansion. Since Corrie and Jake live in NYC, Corrie’s mom and event coordinator Josh Gurvitz created a wonderful plan, and Josh executed it flawlessly.
A big thank you for letting me be involved!

Josh created a great atmosphere at Allison Mansion. I’ll tell anyone that lighting can make all the difference – he also brought in furniture and other details to set the mood for the guests.

The band, Living Proof, blew the doors off the joint.

One of my favorite moments. Corrie and her Dad.

Nicole & Joe are completely irreverant and it’s hillarious. I love that they created the wedding that they wanted. They had fun and everything else was just a party! The weather didn’t cooperate completely but it certainly didn’t hinder the spirit of the day. Thanks for being yourselves!!
The ceremony and reception were wonderfully hosted by the Eiteljorg Museum.

Awww sisters!

Yeah, that’s the way it really is…

Shock and horror, they’ve seen each other before the ceremony. Yeah, whatever.

Even though they saw each other earlier, there were still some unexpected emotions at their second meeting.

…and then back to the fun.

Burgers-n-fries wheeled out later in the reception (that’s Joe’s arm snagging the fry).

Joe’s arm again. Yeah they’re married now so it’s okay.
