Been behind on blogging, sorry. Julie & Austin’s engagement session was a ton of fun as we got to know each other. Julie brought Austin’s favorite hat. The two of them were completely adorable together and very affectionate! Their wedding post will be coming soon.
We’re looking forward to Megan & Chris’ wedding in September! We recently had the chance to meet them at the IMA for their engagement session and we had a great time. See you both soon!
What is he talking about you may ask? We’re really looking forward to Katie & Bart’s wedding in August, but they also wanted images of their family. And they also wanted some engagement images of just the two of them. And they also wanted some pictures of Katie’s more-than-just-a-bump belly! So it’s an EngFamMat session, or a MatEngFam, or a FamEngMat, you get the idea. Any way you parse it we had a great time!
Shakir and I used to work together in my previous life. When he emailed to say that he and Sarah were engaged and they were interested in pictures; I told him I’d make them famous. So if you see them, ask for their autographs! We met at the IMA and spent the evening having some fun trying to get Shakir to loosen up.
Oh, and a few weeks after these shots, they eloped! Congratulations!!

I had the chance to go down to Bloomington a week ago to shoot Lauran & Matt’s session at IU. Since they met and went to school there it was a no brainer. As per my usual, I walked them all over campus and beyond – we tried to get into Nick’s but Lauran left her ID in the car. See you both in October!
