Christmas Card for Gavin

Gavin came in recently, with his parents, to get shots for their Christmas card.  We just had a quick session, and the light was fading but we still got some winners.  Here’s a few favorites.

Kate - portrait

It’s always exciting to hear from previous wedding clients.  Especially when they start having children.  It’s a  scary, thrilling experience.  Chris & Jim were married in 2006 and were recently blessed with little Katarina (Kate).  Can’t wait to see how she changes in the spring!

Happy!

What a doll.

Naked baby alert!

We love you Kate!

Busy Emma

It’s been about a year since the last visit with Emma.  Jamie (her mom) says that she’s turned into a little girl during that time!  And quite a busy one too.  She had me worn out trying to keep up.

First she wanted me to see her house

Then an urgent call came in.

Love the curls

Then it was snack time - swedish fish, mmm.

This was one of daddy’s puzzles when he was a kid.

Then we had a tea party on the landing.

Then it was story time - the firefly book was a favorite.

Clearly riding is a favorite activity.  Clippity-clop.

And of course a sandwich for dinner.

Stevie - session two

Catching up on some sessions from the fall.  In the first two years kids go through such remarkable changes.  Stevie was standing (with help) and jumping, and just starting to think about walking.  And he was sportin a fresh cut.

Dad looks mighty proud.

Just need the legs to keep movin - good catch!

Madelaine & Jacob - Portrait

Sarah & Brian have a beautiful family and I’m grateful for getting to know them.  Their latest little one is Madelaine.  She’s just a sweet little thing.

Her brother Jacob took a little while to warm up, but once he did he was cracking us up.

I love the vintage look here, especially with her beautiful cap.

It just comes naturally!
